Three titles for the Kingdom at Hospitality Awards 2018
THERE were three Kerry winners at the recent Irish Hospitality Awards which were presented in Dublin last week.
The world famous Kate Kearney’s Cottage at the entrance to the Gap of Dunloe near Killarney was named as the Pub of the Year in the South West of the country.
In another success for south Kerry, Sneem’s well known Coomassig View – which has garnered hundreds of glowing reviews online in recent years – was named as the best B&B in the South West.
Meanwhile, there was also a triumph in North Kerry with the world renowned Listowel Writers’ Week being named as the Best Festival in Ireland.
“We are honoured to have welcomed such great finalists and winners representing the Irish hospitality industry at the Irish Hospitality Awards this year. We are delighted that we have awarded some of the top contenders of the hospitality industry in Ireland that enhance the country’s reputation nationally and internationally,” said Irfan Younis, the CEO of Creative Oceanic who sponsored the awards which are now in their second year.
“These awards are a true reflection of the talent in Ireland and we will continue delivering such awards ceremonies to make sure that the hospitality professionals In Ireland get the recognition they deserve,” he said.
