Iveragh United book semi-final berth

JOHN MURPHY UNDER 12 CUP

IVERAGH United took the final place in the semi-final as they got past Tralee Dynamos 1-0 after extra-time. The all-important goal came from David K ennedy with David Murphy making a number of very good saves to see his side home.

Iveragh United now join Killarney Athletic A, Castleisla­nd and Killorglin A in the draw for the semi-finals.

TOM HAYES UNDER 14 CUP

THE Park just got the better of Killorglin A in a five-goal thriller in the Tom Hayes Under 14 Cup quarter-final.

Messiah Chirwa, Cillian Murphy and Kieran O’Connor got the Park’s goal to start of what was a memorable week for them. Eoghan Hassett and Ryan Diggin replied for Killorglin.

Killarney Celtic A and Mastergeeh­a are also in the last four with the final place going to either Fenit or Ballyhar.

HEALY FAMILY UNDER 15 CUP

INTER Kenmare are the first team into the semi-finals of the Healy Family Under 15 Cup after they defeated Tralee Dynamos 7-1 in Tralee. Corey Murphy hit three and Adam Gul and John McCarthy two each in the win with Patruyk Moravski getting the Dynamos consolatio­n.

Shield

THE Park were guaranteed to get one team into the next round as their B team met their Cs with the former going through 3-0. However the Cs can be happy with their run as they are a much younger side.

Killarney Athletic got through on the same score-line against Dingle Bay Rovers while one goal saw Killoirgli­n B knock out Ballyhar.

TUCKER KELLY UNDER 16 CUP

KILLARNEY Celtic won the Tucker Kelly derby semi-final as they got past neighbours Athletic 4-1.

Dylan Callaghan (2), Erin Moloney and Cian O’Leary were the scorers for Celtic with Tom Doyle getting the goal for the Woodlawn side. Celtic will now meet Ballyhar in the decider.

Shield

CAMP Juniors, Iveragh United, Mastergeeh­a and Park B are the last four standing in the shield. Camp Juniors took the final place after they beat Inter Kenmare 3-0.
