Cahersivee­n I.C.A. would like to thank all the volunteers and the general public who gave so generously to the Daffodil Day collection­s in Cahersivee­n, Valentia and Portmagee, €4,532.50 was the total amount raised.

BRIDGE CLUB:

The Bridge Club will resume play in the Autumn.

WALKING TOURS:

Cahersivee­n Guided Walking Tours will be providing regular walking tours of the town from the start of May. This year we will also be providing hillwalkin­g tours on a Friday.

Cromane Community Council invite all to the launch of the Cromane Socio-Economic Developmen­t Plan 2018 -- 2022 The Developmen­t Plan will be launched by Minister of State for Tourism & Sport Brendan Griffin TD at 11am on Friday the 11th of May 2018 at Jacks Coastguard Restaurant, Cromane followed by refreshmen­ts. KERRY HOSPICE FOUNDATION

are currently appealing for cyclists/fundraiser­s in the Parish to join their team of cyclists which will help us to raise much needed funds to continue our work in Kerry Hospice Foundation for loved ones on their cancer journey. DEATH

The death of Terance (Terry) O’Connor, Urrohogal, Currans, Farranfore. The news came through at mid-day on Sunday of his death. He was well known in farming circles throughout the county, being a Council member of ICMSA. Deepest sympathy is extended to his wife, family, sisters and brother, grandchild­ren, extended family and many friends and neighbours. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
