High success rate at May’s Munster Property Auction

THE Munster Property Auction held the first of their 2018 summer public auction events on May 3 in The Rochestown Park Hotel where Kerry properties were sold. Of the 22 properties offered, 19 were successfully sold giving an impressive 86% success rate for the company. The remaining lots are currently under offer and expected to be sold in the coming days.

The first of the Kerry lots sold was a stunning 3 bed holiday home in Sneem which was offered for sale in partnership with William Hennigan Auctioneers, Killarney. No. 13 Sneem Leisure Village had significant interest in the lead up to the auction and was successfully sold in the room for €101,000, out bidding a pre-registered proxy bidder. Also sold in partnership with William Hennigan Auctioneers was The Star Bar and Restaurant, Killarney. This fine property was sold for €150,000 prior to the public auction event.

Large crowds attended which saw some competitive bidding on most of the lots offered with many properties exceeding well in excess of their agreed reserve price.
