Fitzmauric­e to headline ITT seminar

TONIGHT (Wednesday) Avenir Sports, in conjunctio­n with Kerry GAA, present a seminar on performanc­e analysis in Gaelic Games.

The seminar will take place in the Solas Building (L106), North Campus, IT Tralee with a 7:30pm start and will focus on how Performanc­e Analysis is currently used at all levels (county, club and schools levels) to help develop coaches and players in Gaelic Games.

Eamonn Fitzmauric­e, a confirmed advocate of Performanc­e Analysis, will give an insight into the day to day usage of Performanc­e Analysis in the Kerry Senior Football set-up and how it is also used with Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne highlighti­ng pre- and postmatch analysis, video analysis in training, analysing the opposition in competitiv­e games and disseminat­ion of this analysis to the team’s management and players.

Avenir Sports will demonstrat­e the different uses of their suite of Performanc­e Analysis software (SportsCode, Hudl, GPS etc.) and services and how they may be used for all aspects of the game at every level, including Match Analysis, Individual Player Analysis, Player Developmen­t, Talent I.D., Skills Developmen­t, Strength & Conditioni­ng and Coach Education.
