Fitzmaurice to headline ITT seminar
TONIGHT (Wednesday) Avenir Sports, in conjunction with Kerry GAA, present a seminar on performance analysis in Gaelic Games.
The seminar will take place in the Solas Building (L106), North Campus, IT Tralee with a 7:30pm start and will focus on how Performance Analysis is currently used at all levels (county, club and schools levels) to help develop coaches and players in Gaelic Games.
Eamonn Fitzmaurice, a confirmed advocate of Performance Analysis, will give an insight into the day to day usage of Performance Analysis in the Kerry Senior Football set-up and how it is also used with Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne highlighting pre- and postmatch analysis, video analysis in training, analysing the opposition in competitive games and dissemination of this analysis to the team’s management and players.
Avenir Sports will demonstrate the different uses of their suite of Performance Analysis software (SportsCode, Hudl, GPS etc.) and services and how they may be used for all aspects of the game at every level, including Match Analysis, Individual Player Analysis, Player Development, Talent I.D., Skills Development, Strength & Conditioning and Coach Education.
