Draw sees Killorglin crowned Under-12 Premier champions

Premier

A 1-1 draw in their final game of the league between Killarney Celtic and The Park meant that Killorglin were crowned champions by to points.

JJ Olajitan scored for the Park and Jamie Moynihan for Celtic which brought them to 23 points with Killorglin on 25. Killarney Athletic took third and Park fourth. In the Shield section Iveragh United were the winners from Tralee Dynamos, Inter Kenmare and LB Rovers.

DALY’S SUPERVALU UNDER-13 Premier

KILLARNEY Celtic had goals from Eoin Crowley, Luke O’Neill and Cathal Kelly in their 3-1 win over Killarney Athletic who had Josh Coffey on the mark.

Celtic have played all their games in the division and are on 17 points, but Iveragh United had the chance to go level on points and still have games in hand when they played Friday night.

In that game Iveragh drew 0-0 with The Park to move onto fifteen points with three games to play.

The Park move onto 12 with two games left.

KILLARNEY WOOLLEN MILLS UNDER-14 Division 1

THIS was always going to be the vital game in the Quills Woollen Mills Under 14 Division 1 and it was Ballyhar that took the win 1-0 over title contenders Mastergeeh­a.Stephen Palmer got the only goal that was enough to see the side from Murt Scott Park crowned 14 Division 1 champions.

KILLARNEY PLAZA UNDER-15 Premier

KILLORGLIN’S 4-1 win over The Park sees them level at the top of the table with Camp Juniors who still have one game to play. Callum Russell, Callum Moriarty and Adam Owens got the Killorglin goals. David Callaghan got the Park’s goal as they remain in third place with one game to play.

Division 1

KILLARNEY Athletic enjoyed and important 6-1 win over Fenit thanks to goals from Rossa Bellew (3), David Osieba, Jason Lee and Aaron O’Sullivan.

Athletic were impressive at the back with big performanc­es from Rian O’Brien at the back and Darragh Doolan in goals.

Ballyhar have been the champions in this division for a few weeks and wrapped up their league season with a 5-0 win over Fenit. Peter Cosgrave got two with the other goals coming from Aaron O’Shea, John Power and Brian Burke.

Division 2

GOALS from Windmill United’s Adam Hegarty and Eric McMahon (2) sees them level with Ballyheigu­e in third place. But Ballyheigu­e have one game left against Dingle Bay and a win will move them into second place on the final table.
