Iveragh United on top of U-13 Premier
U-13 PREMIER
IVERAGH United got the win they needed to wrap up their first ever Premier title as they defeated The Park 3-1. Oisin Breen got 2 and Ian O’Sullivan the third in the win that sees them beat Killarney Celtic to the title. It certainly has been a good end to the season for Iveragh United with two trophy wins wrapped up.
Mastergeeha defeated Killarney Athletic in a relegation 6 pointer thanks to goals from Hugh Lenihan, Alan O’Leary (2), Eoin Moynihan and Padraig Moynihan.
U-14 Premier title shared
KILLORGLIN and The Park could not be separated all season and took each other on in the last game of the Quills Woollen Mills U-14 Premier league. And after this game they were still level following a 1-1 draw. Messiah Chirwa scored for the Park with Eoghan Hassett replying for Killorglin. This was probably a fair result as these were the two best teams in the Division with the Park having a particularly memorable season.
Camp U-15 Premier champs
CAMP Juniors knew that all they needed was a point from their last game of the season to become Killarney Plaza U-15 Premier champions. In their last game they did better taking all three points following a 3-1 win away at Park.
Mike Tansley got the Park goals but first half goals from Conor O’Leary and Colman O’Meara and a second half goal from Thomas O’Donnell saw Camp wrap up the Premier title.
Killarney Celtic’s 1-1 draw with Inter Kenmare sees them take the third spot in the table.
