The next Rambling House get together in the Heritage Centre Scartaglin will be on Monday evening next June 11th with the starting time being 9pm. Admission as always is free with a raffle and refreshments on the night. Everyone welcome.
EXAMINATIONS
Best of luck to all students from this locality who will be sitting examinations over the next few weeks and hopefully they will be rewarded for the long hours of study put in over the past twelve months.
AFTERNOON OF PRAYER
Denis O’Leary will again be present for an afternoon of prayer in Our Lady Of Lourdes Church Scartaglin on Sunday June 17th at 2.30pm. All are welcome.
GAA LOTTO DRAW
Scartaglen GAA Clubs latest Lotto Draw took place in Flemings Bar on Sunday evening May 27th , the jackpot was E3,400 and was not won. Numbers drawn were: 10,15,16,25. Consolation prizewinners in the Lucky Dip Draw were: E40 Dan Kerins, Knockrour ; E30 Mary Mahony, Gortgloss ; Patsy O Donoghue, Castleisland ; E20 Margaret Daly, Gneeveguilla ; John Canty, Dromulton; Saoirse Lyons, Scartaglen. The next draw will be in Hughes Bar, Cordal on Saturday June 16th when the jackpot will be E3,600.
HOSIPCE SUNFLOWER DAY

GLOUNLEA BOG MEETING
A meeting of all plot holders and all who cut turf in Glounlea Bog will be held in Scartaglen GAA Clubhouse on this Wednesday night June 6th at 8pm with a view to carrying out repairs to the road leading into Glounlea Bog. This is a very important meeting for all concerned and a good attendance is requested.
