Charities to benefit from musical night at Killarney’s INEC

CHARITIES will be the main beneficiar­ies from a great night of music coming down the line this Thursday night, June 7.

The INEC is the venue where the very first Irish Post Music Awards will take place - with a whole host of big name musical acts to take to the stage.

Phil Coulter, The High Kings, Úna Healy, Beoga, Ryan McMullan, The Blizzards, Cliona Hagan will each perform on the night.

These inaugural Music Awards will follow on from Irish Post Country Music Awards last August and The Irish Post awards in November.

With awards in nine categories, including Best Country, Best Folk and Best Pop/Rock, a Lifetime Achievemen­t Award will also be revealed on the evening.

Winners will be picked by a panel of distinguis­hed judges and a public vote.

Best Singer/Songwriter, Best Album and Best Single will also be honoured on the evening alongside a Best Indy Award and Outstandin­g Contributi­on to TV/Radio.

Charities will will benefiot from the night include the ‘Ian O’Connell Trust, the Lisivigeen National School, the Killarney Legion GAA club and the Tralee RFC.

All that’s required for you to be able to secure your seat at this show is a €20 donation to one of the awards chosen charities on the Irish TV website.
