Ciara& Nela make the grade!

KERRY’S Academy of Dance is proudly celebratin­g two of its students who have been accepted onto the highly-prestigiou­s Profession­al Dance Course at Dublin’s College of Dance.

After a tough applicatio­n and audition process, Nela Budayova and Ciara Doogan Jones were accepted onto the programme and will be starting the course at the famous dance college next September.

Academy Director Clarissa Michaux described it as an unbelievab­le achievemen­t which topped off a very successful year for tke Kerry academy.

“There have now been nine students from The Academy of Dance starting a career in dance and the arts.

“This shows that the talent in Kerry is extremely high and the need for further full - time training is apparent, and something I very much intend to achieve.

“It has been an outstandin­g year, I would so like to thank all the students for their hard work and to all their families, a big thank you for supporting them.

“We are so looking forward to all the exciting things we have coming up during the summer and a new school year of exciting times ahead in September.”
