RING OF KERRY CYCLE:

Congratulations to all who took part in the cycle last weekend and raised much needed funds for local charities. Well done all.

MIKE MURPHY MEMORIAL CYCLE:

This year the cycle is on Saturday September 1st 2018. Keep an eye on facebook page for further details & online registration.

TIDY TOWNS:

Thanks to all involved in cleaning up the town and for the lovely painting of the houses in East End completed so far. Please look after all the lovely flowers which look fantastic.

CONNECT KERRY WOMEN:

Congratulations to Alanna Kelleher & all the staff of The Fertha Bar & Restaurant on winning The Hospitality Award in Connect Kerry Women in Business Awards 2018. Also to Kim Elliot-Rocket Deliveries for her New Business Award. Well done all.

SOCIAL SERVICES:

We are now accepting applications for the 5 new houses currently under construction. Interested applicants can contact the office at the parsonage. Closing date for applications 30th June 2018.

CAHERCIVEEN LIBRARY:

A list of South Kerry Authors and books based on the South Kerry area is being compiled with a view to having an exhibition in the library later this year. Please give any information to Colman Quirke on 0872888822

Mens shed open daily for a range of activities. New members welcome.

Cahersiveen Guided Walking Tours are unavailable until 24th July due to circumstances beyond our control. Usual service resumes on 25th July. Contact Gerry on 086 8587680.

Iveragh Vintage Club will hold its annual field day in Waterville on Sunday, July 22, starting at midday. Lots to view and do for young and old. Our nominated charity this year is Cunamh Iveragh and all support is greatly appreciated.
