Fundraiser for Meagan

A FUNDRAISING quiz will take place at the Swankey Bar in Tarbert on Saturday night for Meagan Costello.

The teenaged co-driver was seriously injured in a crash on last month’s Circuit of Muster. She was competing alongside her father Jason, a well-known local rally car preparation expert, when their Ford Escort crashed and caught fire.

Both of the them suffered injuries, but Meagan remains in a Dublin hospital where she has severe burns to both her hands. The fundraiser will help the Costello family off-set traveling costs to and from Dublin and loss of earning while they visit their daughter in hospital.

Tables of four cost €20 and a signed Kerry GAA jersey is one of the items up for auction on the night.
