Opera stars to perform in Cahersiveen

WITH the August Bank Holiday fast approaching, excitement is fast building in South Kerry ahead of the upcoming ‘Cahersiveen Festival of Music and the Arts’.

Opera stars Tara Erraught and Gavan Ring will lead the all-star line up of opera stars who will perform in the Daniel O’Connell Church on August 5 .

They will also be joined by rising stars soprano Amy Ní Fhearraigh and conductor Killian Farrell for an afternoon of operatic and orchestral smash hits with the Orchestra of Irish National Opera.

Speaking to The Kerryman about the event a few weeks ago, Gavan Ring declared that such an event has never been seen in South Kerry.
