Who will join Dublin and Galway in the Alll-Ireland SFC semi-finals?

-

DUBLIN and Galway have qualified for the All-Ireland senior football semi-finals ahead of the final round of quarter-final group games and will be joined after this weekend’s action by two from Kerry, Monaghan, Donegal and Tyrone.

Kerry have to beat Kildare to have any chance of making the semi-final. Even then it would be dependent on the Galway v Monaghan result. If Galway beat Monaghan and Kerry beat Kildare, scoring difference would decide which of them joined Galway in the semi-finals. If Monaghan and Galway draw, both will go through to the semi-finals.

Kildare are out of contention for a semi-final place, but a win over Kerry would see them finish third on the table, with the Kingdom last.

Kerry and Kildare last met in the championship in 2015 when Kerry won an All-Ireland quarter-final by 7-16 to 0-10 on a day when Colm Cooper, Stephen O’Brien, Darran O’Sullivan and Barry John Keane scored 6-11 between them.

Kerry beat Kildare by 0-19 to 0-14 in Tralee in this year’s Allianz League.
