Animal Health Store: As well as doing a bustling livestock trade, Iveragh Mart also offer additional services. An Animal Health Store is open daily and stocks a large range of products at competitive prices. Any item not in stock can be ordered for the customer and will be in stock within 1-2 days. As with most stores there are so many products to choose from that it is not always possible to have every product in stock. Farmers can purchase Animal Health Products on the same day they sell their sheep or cattle.

Livestock Breeding (LB) Scheme: This was the brain child of a committee meeting back in 1990, and was the turning point for the quality of stock at Iveragh area. The LB Breeding Scheme gives farmers an opportunity to avail of a loan to purchase a Pedigree Bull and make repayments annually when they sell their stock. Since this scheme began back in 1990 it has assisted in 209 purchases. This has improved the quality of the stock as the farmers in the area have a vast interest in improving quality despite the conditions that come up against farming. This is all evident when their weanlings come to market as the buyers are always taken by the quality of stock available.
