The hurling season is starting to wrap up
LIXNAW and Kilmoyley will contest the final of the Garvey’s SuperValu County Senior Hurling Championship [Corn Neilus Ó Floinn] following semi-final victories last weekend over Causeway and Ballyduff respectively. The final is scheduled for Sunday week, 26 August. Both have been relatively recent winners of the title – Lixnaw in 2014 and Kilmoyley in 2016.
COUNTY INTERMEDIATE HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP
THE Final of the 2018 County Intermediate Hurling Championship between Kilgarvan and Causeway is fixed for this Saturday, 18 August at 5pm. The venue will be Lewis Road, Killarney
COUNTY LEAGUE DIVISION 2
ST. Brendan’s qualified for the Final of the Credit Union County Senior Hurling League Division 2 with a 3-15 to 2-13 away win over Kenmare on Friday evening last. St. Brendan’s go on to play Causeway in the final.
COUNTY MINOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP
THE last of the Round 1 games will take place on this Thursday, 16 August at 6.30p,m. Kenmare / Kilgarvan take on Ballyheigue/ Causeway at Kilgarvan (extra time if necessary).
The first of the semi-finals between Tralee Parnell’s and Abbeydorney will be played on this Saturday, 18 August at 3pm in Kilmoyley. The second semi-final between St. Brendan’s and the winners of the Round 1 tie above will be played on Tuesday, 21 August at 6.30p.m. Details will be available at www.kerrygaa.ie

NORTH Kerry Under 15 ‘B’ Championship results: Ballyduff w.o. Crotta scr.; Tralee Parnell’s 2 - 12 Lixnaw 0 - 6; St. Brendan’s 3 - 7 Tralee Parnell’s 2 - 7. Both Under 15 Finals are scheduled for Saturday, 1 September.
NORTH Kerry Under 13 ‘B’ Championship Round 5 fixtures for Tuesday next, 21 August, 6.30pm CAUSEWAY v Ballyheigue; Abbeydorney v Lixnaw; Tralee Parnell’s bye. The final is fixed for Tuesday, 28 August.
THE Under-13 ‘A’ Championship [Jack & Mike Galvin Memorial Shield] between St. Brendan’s and Ballyduff will be played on Tuesday, 21 August, 6.30pm. [venue to be confirmed].
