“A NIGHT TO REMEMBER” TECH AMERGIN
Back by popular demand, “A Night In November” is on Tuesday 28th of August 8.00pm. Mike Kelly, who has a Ballinskelligs heritage, plays all of the 20 characters in the play. Tickets are €15 / €12. Pre-booking of tickets is essential on 066 9478956.
NEW SATURDAY NIGHT BUS SERVICE
There is a new local link Kerry bus service available from Ballinskelligs to Waterville return on Saturday evening. The Bus will arrive in Ballinskelligs at 20.30. The route is Ballinskelligs, Dungeagan, Meelagulleen, Reen, Curragh, Teeranearagh, Sussa, Reenacoola, Cools, Killurly, Kinard, and Libes to Ballinskelligs. The bus will then travel from Ballinskelligs into Waterville with available connections on route and in Kineigh Cross, Scarriff, and Spunkane. The bus will arrive in Waterville at 21.00. The bus will depart from Waterville at 23.00 to arrive back in Ballinskelligs at 23.30 Ring 066 7147002 Monday Friday 9am to 5pm or ring 087 7169070 Saturday 18.30 to 19.30.

HERITAGE WEEK
“Ballinskelligs Abbey and Castle in a changing climate”, Thursday, 23rd August, 17.00 to 20:00 at Ballinskelligs Community hall, Dungeagan, Ballinskelligs, County Kerry. An evening with a free exhibition, talks about Ballinskelligs Abbey and Castle and what climate change might mean for these historic places. Talks schedule as follows: 17:00 - Ballinskelligs in the CHERISH project, Sandra Henry, Discovery Programme 17:15 - Adapt Northern Heritage, Carsten Hermann, Historic Environment Scotland 17:30 - 1990s archaeological excavations, John Sheehan University College Cork. 18;00 Conservation of Ballinskelligs Abbey, Grellan, Rourke, Office of Public Works 18:30 Exhibition opening with nibbles and drinks 19:00 Tour to Abbey, guided by Michael Connolly, Kerry County Council.

Ballinskelligs Country Market Venue: Beachside Café Ballinskelligs is now open for the summer season every Sunday in August from 11.00am 4.00pm. Browse stalls filled with Artisan foods, Crafts, goods and more. There will be live music, with Claire Horgan and Friends.
