The Kerryman (South Kerry Edition)

Another successful Cul Camp season

- EAST KERRY GAA Michael O’Mahony

THE East Kerry / Kenmare Cúl Camps were completed this week.

The camps were a huge success with fantastic numbers attending at all thirteen venues. Many thanks to all clubs for supporting Vince Cooper East Kerry / Kenmare GDA in running the camps.

It was great to see all the boys and girls enjoying the camps so much which was a credit to all the coaches working at the camps. The feedback from all parents was positive with value for money combined with fantastic package of gear making the camps so popular.

Adam Mangan Under 15 Games

KERRY South Under 15 panel of thirty players and management made the long journey to Offaly last Saturday.

The National Under 15 competition took place in Tullamore. Playing Down in the quarter final was always going to be a tough test. Trailing at the short whistle the lads showed great courage to secure a superb victory.

Kerry North proved too strong in the semi final scoring crucial first half goals. Kerry South battled back to play much better in the second half losing out to a better balanced team on the day.

Corey Murphy (Kilgarvan) suffered an injury in the semi final we wish him a speedy recovery. Thanks to all supporters that made the journey to Tullamore it was great to see the fantastic support on the day.
