HAT’S off to Cara Credit Union, overall winners of The Kerryman Business Awards held in The Ballygarry Hotel on Friday night.

The local credit service was joined by many other winners on the night as The Kerryman rewarded innovation and hard work, giving local businesses the recognition they deserve.

Deciding on an eventual winner is never an easy task given the level of business acumen on display. Neither is it always easy for business personnel to enjoy an evening away from the shop, office or board room and so the night went down a treat.

Guest speaker on the night was Matt Cooper, who spoke of the massive contribution made by local businesses to communities they serve. There was also huge delight when the winners of each category was announced.

The Kerryman’s Advertising and Marketing Manager, Siobhan Murphy, described it as an honour to meet with the people behind the story of

Kerry business.

“Every year The Kerryman is proud to receive so many wonderful applications from people, applications that show the deep sense of personal pride people have in their business and organisation,” she said.
