Premier

KILLORGLIN made it three wins from three, but only just.

Two goals including one from the penalty spot and one from Andrew Owens put Killorglin 3-0 up at the break. In the second half Listowel Celtic fought hard and two Evan Boyle goals, with one of his also coming from the penalty spot, brought the home side right back into contention.

Killarney Celtic moved onto six points after a 4-0 home win over neighbours Killarney Athletic. Mikey Murphy, Josh Bowler, Jamie Moynihan and Padraig O’Donoghue got their goals, but they also needed keeper Callum Cronin to be in top form to keep the Woodlawn side at bay. Mathew Moynihan and Neil O’Carroll were the best for Athletic.

The Park and Iveragh United have to be satisfied with a point each. Goals from Evan and Fintan O’Sullivan put the West Kerry side ahead with Immanuel Manu getting the Park’s goal. And it took a cracker from JJ Olajitan to earn the point for his side.

Division 1

KILLORGLIN B have moved to the top of the table thanks to a 7-2 win over Tralee Dynamos 2. Jessie O’Reilly, Jack Evans, Jamie Casey, Mathew O’Loughlin and Mathew Spillane were on the mark for Killorglin who move onto seven points.

Castleisland had goals from Mint O’Connor, David Healy, Eoghan Shire and Jack O’Donoghue as they defeated Inter Kenmare 4-3.

Killarney Celtic B took the first three points of the weekend as a last minute winner from Vishnu gave them a 1-0 win over Camp Juniors. Celtic keeper Pierce Moynihan was in great form.

Division 2 North

ST Brendans Park C made it four wins from four, but did so by just coming out on the right side of a nine goal thriller.

Sam Slattery hit two, Ryan O’Driscoll a penalty, Adam Prendergast and Ciaran O’Connell got the goals for the Park.

Patrick Walsh hit a hat trick and TJ O’Sullivan were on the mark for any unlucky LB Rovers side.

Division 2 South

IN a tight division Ballyhar are now the leaders after they won 6-2 away at Killorglin C. Daithi O’Shea and Aaron O’Sullivan both hit two each with Kristupas and Tristan Keating getting the other two. For the home side Tristen Janinski who was again the stand-out player on his side and Micheal Roache for the goals.

Mastergeeha travelled to MEK for what turned out to be an amazing game ending 8-6 to the Kilbrean side. Gavin Barry, Jack O’Brien, Barry Collins, Bobby Galvin, Darren O’Leary and Emmet Spillane got the Mastergeeha goals.

Aaron Dinhan, Cian Fleming and James Clifford all got two each for MEK.
