NOVEMBER MASSES

MAsses for people who died during the year and who were buried from the churches in the Parish will take place on the following dates : Firies Fri 16th November at 7.30pm and Ballyhar Fri 23rd November at 7.30pm.

KERRY UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Annual November Mass for patients (including those who died by stillbirth and miscarriag­e) who died in the hospital during the year will be celebrated in the Hospital Chapel on Mon 5th November at 7.00pm. Relatives and friends are invited.

THANKS

Thanks to everyone who contribute­d to the annual Coffee Morning in Aherns Pharmacy in September. 1500eu was raised on the day for the Palliative Care Unit in Tralee. AA Open Public Meeting tonight, Wednesday 31st October at 8.30pm in Ardfert Retreat Centre (066 7134276).

TEAMS - Our u12s made the short journey to Mastergeeh­a FC on saturday last. The home team were much stronger and efficient in front of goal but we did have excellent performanc­es from Henry Walsh , Tony Daly, Eoin Walsh, Sean Barry & Jake Keating.

Our Youths were away to Killorglin FC on sunday last and secured a point in a cracking 2-2 draw. Jason Brennan gave us the lead on 30 minutes with a neat chip over the advancing keeper. We re took the lead on 60 minutes with a neat low well drilled shot by Jack Duggan. Killorglin equalised with ten minutes remaining to see out an entertaini­ng game.

Best on the day in a great squad performanc­e were Cian Ring, James o Leary, Conor o Sullivan, Brian o Droscoll, Patrick o Connor, Dara Donohoe & Harry Doody.

REGISTRATI­ON & MEMBERSHIP - U7s to U10s is €10 per child. U11s is €25 per child. U12s, 13s, 15s, 16s, 17s, Youths & Seniors is €50. Two Family Members €90 & Three family members €120.The Kerry Schoolboy league receives €23 & the Kerry District league receives €15 of the €50 contribute­d per child/Adult.. Any parent that would like to get involved with any age group please make contact with club officers.
