Kilcummin Comhaltas would like to thank all those who promoted and supported the hugely successful Concert Tour of Ireland last Thursday night. Thanks to all who helped in preparing the stage and Church, those who supplied homebaking, chairs, tables etc.- not forgetting our Comhaltas members who helped make it all possible. A special thanks to Bishop Ray Browne and Fr. Eamonn for allowing us the use of the Church and Parish Office. Míle Buíochas.

I.C.A NEWS

Beginners and Advanced Crochet Class will be given by qualified teacher in the Recreation­al Hall on Saturday 3rd November from 10am - 4pm. Further details from Eileen 086 3689343.

A Craft Class will be held in the Rural Dev. Office Wednesday October 31st at 8pm. All ladies welcome.

JUNIOR SET DANCING

There will be no dancing on Friday 2nd November. Dancing will resume on Friday November 9th.

‘CIORCAL CAINTE’

‘Ciorcal Cainte’ continues each Wednesday night in the Klub Bar from 7.30-8.30pm. This is a very informal get together, it’s not a class. Beidh fáilte roimh cách.

MASTERGEEH­A FC

U12 Div 1 - Mastergeeh­a 8 Ballyhar 0. The boys had a good wing on Saturday morning with Matthew Kennedy, Ronan Mc Carthy, Sean Mc Aulliffe, Dylan Cronin and Sean Cox getting the goals.

U14 National Cup - Mastergeeh­a 3 Shannon Town 3 (3-5 on penalties) In this exciting national cup game Mastergeeh­a started better with Hugh Lenihan scoring the opening goal. However the visitors better finishing seen them lead 3-1 early in the second half. Mastergeeh­a battled back with Keelan O Shea and Hugh Lenihan scoring late in the game to send it the extra time. Both sides created chances in the extra time but penalties were need to decide the tie. All played well and could not be faulted for effort.

U14 Div 2 - Mastergeeh­a 0 Dingle 5. In this game the boys faced a strong west Kerry side. Kieran Nagle, Euan Evans and Gavin Cronin had good chance for Mastergeeh­a in a game all tried their best.
