THIS was a game between two sides who needed a win to get their season moving forward positively and in a tight game Sporting Listowel came away with the three points. Chris Lyons, Marius Jurka and Thomas McCarthy scored for the winners. Nathan O’Driscoll and Gerry Wallace scored for Athletico Ardfert.

CG Killarney stay in touch with the title contenders after a 3-2 win over Classic FC C. Bogdan Pop (two) and Mike Griffin scored for the winners with assists from Mike Daly, Mike Griffin and Owen Kerrisk. Best for the winners were Jack Dee, Andrew O’Sullivan and David McSweeney.
