Four Munster Junior Cup games down for decision

-

MUNSTER JUNIOR CUP

THERE are four Munster Junior Cup games down for decision next weekend and 8 teams battle for the two places that earn progression to the open draw part of the competition. Three of the games are on Sunday while Killarney Celtic play Killorglin on Friday with a 7.30pm kick off at Celtic Park.

It is déjà vu for Fenit and Listowel Celtic as they met in the league last Sunday with Celtic winning. Fenit will be very anxious to avenge this defeat and they are quite capable of winning this game if they play up to scratch.

Windmill will go into their game against Killarney Athletic as outsiders, but they have nothing to lose but they may find Athletic too strong for them on this occasion

Killarney Celtic versus Killorglin is a carbon copy of the previous week’s game in the FAI Junior Cup and Celtic should also win this one with the game on at Celtic Park this time.

Castleisland should be able to get the better of CG Killarney, but they are on a real high this season with two teams in the KDL and could upset the apple cart. However, it would be difficult to see Castleisland losing this one.
