1. TEST YOURSELF AT GAA CLUB 10K RUN
A SAINT Vincent De Paul fashion night will be held in the Marine Bar and Restaurant in Ballybunion on the night of November 16.
The night will be in aid of the Ballybunion SVP branch; it will feature fashion, fun and plenty of food and drink.
Doors on the night will open at 6:30pm and tickets are set to cost €35 each; early booking is essential as places are limited. Call 06827139 for more information.
2. HAIR HEAVEN FUNDRAISER IN CAMP
A HAIR Heaven charity fundraiser will take place in Ashe’s Bar in Camp on the night of Friday November 16 - all to raise funds for the Irish Charity Fundraiser.
The night will comprise of a shave or wax night in the bar and organisers are on the lookout for volunteers who would be up for shaving or dyeing their hair.

3. TABLE QUIZ AT ‘INNY TARVERN’ THIS WEEKEND
A FUNDRAISING pub quiz in aid of the Christmas Community Party in Dromid take place this Saturday November 17 in the ‘Inny Tavern’.
Tables of 4 will cost just €20 and all support from the community on the willbe greatly appreciated by organisers.
4. AN EVENING OF SPORTS FOR RECOVERY HAVEN
THE finest names in the sporting world will descend on the Ballyroe Heights Hotel at the end of this month as they lend their support to Recovery Haven.
‘An Evening of Sporting Greats’ will take place on Friday, November 30 ,and will see GAA greats Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh and Aidan O’Mahony; horse racing guru Ted Walsh; and Ireland’s women’s rugby captain Ciara Griffin take part in a panel on the night.

5. 150 YEAR CELEBRATIONS FOR O’BRENNAN NS
O’BRENNAN NS will mark a very special milestone in their history this week as they prepare to celebrate their 150th anniversary.
The school will celebrate the occasion by holding an open morning on Friday November 16. There will be light refreshments, music and entertainment from 9:30am to 11:30am.
Then in the evening, there will be a gathering in the Pavilion at the Ballygarry House Hotel from 7pm onwards, There will be a BBQ with music, dancing and plenty of spot prizes.
Tickets are €25 and are available from the school office.
6. FASHION SHOW IN AID OF FIRST RESPONDER GROUP
EAST 73rd will host a charity fashion show in their Ballybunion shop on Friday November 30.
The fashion show will start at 8pm sharp; there will be wine and treats on arrival also.
Music will be by Ray Stack and tickets for the show will cost just €15 - all funds raised from the night will go towards helping to support the local First Responder Group.
7. COFFEE MORNING FOR HANNAH THE WARRIOR PRINCESS
A fundraising CHRISTMAS coffee morning in aid of a young woman called Hannah will be held in Namir’s Restaurant in Ballybunion on Saturday November 24.
Hannah has been through a tough 20 months in Temple Street Hospital and the fundraising morning is hoping to raise enough funds to allow her to spend Christmas at home.

8. MICHAEL HEALY RAE BOOK SIGNING IN LISTOWEL
MICHAEL Healy-Rae will be in Woulfe’s Bookshop in Listowel on the night of Saturday November 24 where he will be signing copies of his new book, ‘A Time to Talk’.
The Kilgarvan TD will be in the book shop at 10:30am.
9. FUNDRAISING TALENT SHOW FOR LB ROVERS
LB Rovers will hold a fundraising talent show for singers, dancers and chancers in the Tinteán Theatre on Fridau November 23.
Starting at 7:30pm, this promises to be a great night of entertainment for all involved.
Tickets will cost €20 and are available to purchase by contacting Kate on 0876284279 or Mairead on 0879286968. This will be a fundraising event for LB Rovers.
10. GET EXERCISING THIS WEEKEND WITH PARKRUN
WHY not try to head down to take part in one of the many parkruns taking place around Kerry at the weekends? There are five parkruns in Kerry: Tralee, Killarney, Listowel, Inch Beach and the Tralee junior parkrun.
These free 5km events are run every weekend by volunteers and they have been proven to be extremely popular in improving both physical and mental health.
The Tralee. Listowel and Killarney parkruns are held every Saturday morning from 9:30am onwards while the Tralee Junior parkrun takes place on Sunday at 9:30am - these 2km events are aged for children from 4-14 years old.
