Higher Education GAA Referees’ Bursary on offer
COISTE Chontae Chiarrai CLG has one Higher Education GAA Referees’ Bursary for the 2018/19 Academic Year. The Bursary will be awarded to a registered student of the Institute of Technology Tralee. The Bursary is awarded by Coiste Chontae Chiarrai CLG to a successful applicant who is currently participating as a referee and officiating for Coiste Chontae Chiarrai CLG games.
The following are the terms and conditions of the bursary scheme:
1. The application is open to members of Coiste Chontae Chiarrai CLG who are registered full time students at IT Tralee and who are active participants in IT Tralee GAA Club.
2. The successful applicant must be available to referee games for IT Tralee GAA Club when required.
3. To qualify recipients must have obtained a Club Level Referee Certificate and a Referee In-Service Course Certificate (where possible).
4. To qualify recipients must be participating as a referee and officiating Coiste Chontae Chiarrai CLG games and also remain active following award of the bursary.
5. The bursary is valued at €600
6. A condition of receiving the bursary is the demonstration of a commitment to the Higher Education GAA Club as a referee or official.
7. Those who are already in receipt of College GAA scholarships/ bursaries are not eligible to apply.
8. Bursaries are awarded for the 2018/19 Academic Year only.
9. Completed application forms are to be returned to Eamon Fitzgerald, GAA Games Promotion Officer, IT Tralee, Clash, Tralee, Co. Kerry
