Accommodation in Dingle is on top of the world
DINGLE is among the best in the world when it comes to providing for guests, according to the annual Trip Advisor Hotel Awards.
The Trip Advisor Travellers Choice Awards – decided on the basis of ratings given by travellers who use the website – places four of Dingle’s accommodation providers among the top 10 small hotels in Ireland.
Trip Advisor ratings are awarded in categorise ranging from Best Hotel to Best for Romance and Dingle’s Pax House took top honors in Ireland in the Romance, Service and Bargain categories, and also deemed to offer the second best bargain in the world and fourth place worldwide for service.
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, it will be no surprise if Dingle is awash with loved up couples seeking a romantic retreat after local accommodation providers have claimed four of the top ten slots in the list of Ireland’s most romantic hotels.
In the very busy B&B sector Coill an Róís, Baile Ghainín was awarded sixth place in Ireland and the Milestone House at Milltown was in 16th place.
It is a testimony to the effort made in West Kerry’s family-run businesses that Pax House was awarded a rating for service ahead of Ashford Castle and The Merrion in Dublin.
