Donal at INEC to mark century of performances
DONAL Courtney will stage his 100th performance of the highly acclaimed one-man play on the amazing story of Monsignor Hugh O’Flaherty on February 14 at the INEC Acoustic Club.
Nothing beats reaching a milestone before a home audience, and having toured in Malta, North America and Asia, it will be a momentous return home for Donal.
The play, ‘God Has No Country’, tells of Monsignor O’Flaherty’s war-time exploits in Rome. It is a powerful portrayal of the times Monsignor O’Flaherty risked the wrath of the German occupation in Rome to protect those who weremost vulnerable.
