Dubs up next for on-song Kerry

- County Board PRO Leona Twiss with all the GAA news

LAST weekend saw the Kerry Senior Football team earn two valuable points.

Going to Cavan is never an easy ask and Kerry found it difficult to get to grips with the home side in the first half. The second half was a very different story as Kerry began to exert their influence on the game.

There were great individual performances all over the field, but Seán O’Shea’s accuracy deserves special mention. The game finished Cavan 0-13, Kerry 0-16. Kerry are in second place in the Allianz League Division 1 Table behind Mayo who are also on four points.

Next up is the much-anticipated clash with Dublin. This game is sold out and we have not been informed if further tickets will be made available.

The match will be on RTÉ and on Eir as well as live on Radio Kerry.

This game will give Kerry a real understanding of where they are with their preparation. For those lucky enough to have tickets, the gates will open at 5pm and the game will throw in at 7pm. As tickets are for general admission it is important to arrive early to get a seat in the Stand.

The match programme will be on sale for €3. All proceeds go to the Austin Stack Park Committee to continue the upkeep and maintenance of Austin Stacks Park.

Peter Keane will announce his team on Friday at 8pm on the Kerry GAA website. We wish the team every good wish in the challenge that awaits!
