Killarney Legion 1-10 Firies 1-7 Killarney Legion got their season off to a good start with a win against Firies at Direen in the first round of the East-Kerry Super League. Supporters from both teams enjoyed an entertaining encounter which was a contest right up to the final whistle. Legion started well and looked to have the first half well under control until Firies struck for a goal just before half-time. This left the score 1-06 to 1-01 in Legion’s favour. The second half saw Firies take the game to Legion but better finishing by the home side saw them hold out for a three point win at the final whistle.
