THE Kerry Schoolboys Girls League does not usually produce too many draws but this division this week there were two.

And one of those draws was at the top of the table with leaders, by a point, Inter Kenmare sharing the points Dynamos in Tralee. Charlie Guest had put Inter ahead before Adam Evans replied for Dynamos.

Inter move onto 16 points with Dynamos on 15. Joining them on 15 points are Killarney Celtic who came from two down to defeat the Park 3-2. Sam Slattery and Ryan O’Driscoll put the Tralee side ahead, but Fiana Bradley scored a very important goal for Celtic before the break. And in that second half Andy Casey scored twice to give Celtic the points.

Killarney Athletic are also still well in contention after they were 5-0 winner over Dingle Bay and they move onto 14 points. Luke Doolan (3), Liam Hannigan and Nathan Cronin were the Athletic scorers.

LB Rovers and Killorglin also shared the points following a 2-2 draw. Aaron Doyle and Darragh Lynch scored for Killorglin with JJ O’Rourke replying for LB Rovers.

The visitors were 3-1 up at the break. Killorglin’s goals came from James Jones, Cian Hynes and Daniel O’Keeffe in the first half and from Rioghan O’Sullivan in the second. Thomas Myers hit a hat-trick for Mastergeeha with Evan O’Sullivan getting the other goal.

Jake Nash can always say he scored the winner in a Killarney derby. His goal gave Athletic a 1-0 win away at Celtic.
