Dee...lighted baker wins Manor award
DEE’S Delightful Bakes – a personalised cake and cupcake company based in Tralee – has been crowned the winner of Manor West shopping centre and retail park’s food and crafts fair awards 2018.
Owned and run by Denise Hanbidge Dees Delightful Bakes was one of 25 food and craft producers who participated in the awards, which are run in conjunction with the Kerry LEO
As part of her prize Denise will now have the opportunity to run a pop up shop once a week in Manor West; benefit from promotion through the retail park’s social media and receive an online trading voucher with a maximum of €2,500.
Throughout 2018 Manor west shopping centre has welcomed numerous local producers and crafts people to show off their wares at various food and craft fairs.
Following the fairs the public was asked to vote on their favourite stalls with Dee emerging as the clear favourite.
Denise said she was “over the moon” to have been named winner.
“I am extremely grateful for the support I have received. This fantastic prize is a huge boost for my business,” she said.
General Manager of Manor West Derek Rush general manager of Manor West congratulated Denise on her win and wished everyone that had taken part in the various fairs well.
