This is a perfect opportunit­y for future students of all ages to come along and experience the extensive choice of part-time and full-time courses available from one of north Kerry’s premier educationa­l hubs.

The North Kerry College of Further Education is constantly in tune with the changing needs and aspiration­s of individual­s who want to fulfill their potential in a friendly and modern setting. The courses on offer are a combinatio­n of practical training for the jobs market, while also building strong academic skills suitable for further study.

From Childcare and Hairdressi­ng, to Business and Nursing (for more see: www.northkerry­college.ie), the College offers QQI-accredited courses in Level 4, 5 and 6 to help students grow in their educationa­l ambitions. It also offers an interestin­g selection of Night Classes (check their website).

Perspectiv­e students should also note that a QQI-accredited course is a great preparator­y route to third level. Past pupils of North Kerry College of Further Education have continued their studies in places such as University College Cork, Mary Immaculate College Limerick, University of Limerick and IT Tralee.

Moreover, college personnel will be at the Open Day on March 6 to welcome prospectiv­e students and talk them through the College’s current course selection, including new courses added for the 2019/2020 academic year. You will also meet and greet with current students and take a tour to see for yourself what the College has to offer.
