CLUB DEVELOPMENT: The proposed development of new dressing rooms and gym is almost ready for commencement. It is planned to proceed with direct labour and the club are asking anyone who is willing to give of their time freely to see this project completed to please contact a member of the executive or ring Chairman Eugene McSweeney on 0872874432. Senior Football Kilcummin play Firies this Saturday at 2.30 pm in Farranfore in the East Kerry Super League. It will mark the opening of a new stand in honour of Jimmy Keane RIP who played senior football for Kilcummin. Jimmy’s was a brother of Dermot Keane Knockataggle, and Judy O Connor Clashnagarrane and his son Damien is a regular sponsor of club activities. It would be a nice gesture to see a large crowd from Kilcummin there for support of this event. GNEEVEGUILLA ATHLETIC CLUB: Rathmore to Rathmore 4K Road Race on Saturday 9th March at 11.30am.
