Harriers take ‘top club’ award

THE Kerry Athletics Development Sportshall Games took place last Saturday at the Nagle Rice Community Centre in Milltown.

This is the most competitive and fun event in the Kerry Athletics calendar that sees U-9 to U-12 athletes competing, some for the first time in their athletic careers, in sprints, standing long jump, speed bounce, shot and relay.

Turn out from across the Kerry clubs was high with the sprints requiring heats and semi-finals. Tralee Harriers were the top club overall with Lios Tuathail in second place, just one point ahead of St Brendan’s.

U-9 Girls
