After the game, Mid Kerry Board Chairman Tim Coffey presented the Eugie Ferris Memorial Cup to winning captain Fiachra Clifford, who was also awarded the official Man of the Match trophy. MINOR: Laune Rangers have secured a place in the Semi Finals of the County Minor League Division 1 following defeat of Na Gaeil in Round 4 of the League in JP O’Sullivan Park on Saturday afternoon. MINOR FIXTURE: Laune Rangers host Dr Crokes in Round 5 of the County Minor League Division 1. The game takes place on Saturday next, March 30th at 4pm in JP O’Sullivan Park. With a semi final berth secured, the team will be looking to win to secure a home tie in the last four so all support would be greatly appreciate­d. UNDER 16 BOYS: Laune Rangers have two teams taking part in the Central Region Under 16 Competitio­n this year. Division Three got up & running on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon as Laune Rangers ‘White’ beat Churchill. Final Score:- Laune Rangers 2-15, Churchill 0-9. UNDER 14 GIRLS: Laune Rangers Under 14 Girls made the trip to Gallarus on Bank Holiday Monday evening but lost to Corca Dhuibhne in the County League. Final Score Corca Dhuibhne 5-3, Laune Rangers 3-4.

SCÓR NA BPAISTÍ: Congratula­tions to the Laune Rangers Set Dancers who qualified for the County Finals of Scór na bPaistí Chiarraí on Sunday evening. BORD NA NÓG MEDAL CEREMONY: Laune Rangers medal ceremony for Bord na nÓg teams took place in the CYMS Hall on Friday evening last. There was a great haul of medals handed out:- U12: County League Div 1A, Central Region Divs 1A & 1B, Mid Kerry A; U14: County Féile, Central Region Divs 1 & 4, Mid Kerry A; U16: Mid Kerry Championsh­ip; Minor: County League Div 1 Mid Kerry Championsh­ip.
