- By FERGUS DENNEHY

WHAT a night there is in store at the INEC this Saturday as two of the most consistently brilliant performers of their generation arrive at the INEC for a great night of music.

Mike Denver, who is affectionately known as the ‘Galway Boy’ is as always at the height of his powers and is this year celebrating his 14 th year on the entertainment scene.

Voted ‘Entertainer of the Year’ back in 2016 with his number 1 album entitled ‘Cut Loose’, Mike will be joined on the night by a very special guest in the form of Donegal singer, Margo.

Margo, who is of course the older sister of the hugely popular singer Daniel O’Donnell, is an acclaimed singer and performer in her own right.

The winner of the All-Ireland Country Music Hall Of Fame Award back in 2010, she has a special place in the hearts of people around the world for her interpretation of timeless country and Irish ballads.

Visitors on the night can expect to enjoy the full range of Mike and Margo’s best loved songs including ‘Tommy K’, ‘Wasn’t that a Party,’ ‘Galway Girl’, ‘Paddy’, ‘Born in Ireland’, ‘Poverty’, ‘Little Town on the Shannon’, ‘Shanagolden’ and ‘Dear John’.

It all takes place from 8:30pm this coming Saturday March 30 with the doors on the night set to open at 7:30.

Tickets are currently on sale from the INEC box office or website and will cost just €34.20.
