MINOR FIXTURE: Laune Rangers will play a home Semi Final in the County Minor League Division 1. Depending on a the result of a back-game to be played on Tuesday, Rangers will host Na Gaeil or Rathmore or Austin Stacks on Friday next, April 12th at JP O’Sullivan Park. Check our social media for full details later in the week. UNDER 16 BOYS: Laune Rangers picked up wins in both Divisions 1 & 3 of the Central Region Competitio­n on Monday evening. In JP O’Sullivan Park, the Blue team had a convincing home win against Ballymacel­ligott in their first game of the season. UNDER 14 BOYS: Laune Rangers Under 14 Blue Team began their season on Wednesday evening, hosting Keel/Listry in Division 1 of the County League. Full Time Score:- Laune Rangers 1-10, Keel/Listry 2-12. UNDER 14 GIRLS: Laune Rangers Under 14 Girls had a convincing win at home to Na Gaeil on Sunday evening. UNDER 12 BOYS: Laune Rangers Under 12 Boys began their season on Sunday evening away to Ballymacel­ligott in County League Divisions 1A & 1B. The Home side came out on top in both games on an evening where the ‘Silent Sidelines’ initiative was introduced. Keep an eye out for the Silent Sidelines in U12 football this season as it tries to eradicate unsportsma­nlike commentary from spectators and management. UNDER 12 GIRLS: Well Done to Laune Rangers Under 12 Girls who had a great win on Saturday in a 175km round trip to Lauragh against Inbhear Scéine Gaels. KERRY: Commiserat­ions to out Kerry representa­tives Ciara O’Brien (Senior) & Rachael Evans (Minor) who both started for their County in their respective losses to Tyrone and Cork. SCÓR: Well Done to our Scór na bPaistí Chiarraí finallists who represente­d the Club with pride in both the Set Dancing & Quiz categories on Saturday.
