The sides drew in the group stage in a very entertaining and high scoring affair and hopefully it will be the same this time round but with Firies getting the upper hand. Its great to have home advantage and hopefully everyone will come out and support the lads. Junior Premier Club Championship: Firies played Ballymac in Farranfore in round 2 of the junior premier championship in a difficult evening for football. . But Ballymac finished the stronger to leave the final score Ballymac 2-11, Firies 2-06. Firies kicked a number of bad wides in the second half and these could have made a difference in the end. Next up for Firies is the round 3 game away to Skelligs Rangers on Satuarday at 18.30. This is a must win for Firies to maintain our Junior Premier status.
