Laune Rangers now take on Spa Killarney in Tiernaboul next weekend, needing a 14 point winning margin against their hosts to avoid finishing bottom of the group. SENIOR FIXTURE: Laune Rangers will travel to Spa Killarney for the final round of the Intermedia­te Championsh­ip. The game takes place on Saturday evening, April 20th at 6:30pm in Tiernaboul.

MINOR: Laune Rangers will contest this year’s County Minor League Division 1 Final following defeat of Rathmore in a fantastic battle in JP O’Sullivan Park on Sunday evening. Half Time Score:- Laune Rangers 1-3, Rathmore 1-6.

David Mangan scored a fantastic point to open the second half scoring, and Matt Leslie added a free shortly after. Full Time Score:- Laune Rangers 2-10, Rathmore 1-12. Laune Rangers will face Killarney Legion in the County Division 1 Final with hopes of retaining the trophy won in 2018. MINOR FIXTURE: Laune Rangers will face Killarney Legion in the County Minor League Division 1 Final. The game is scheduled for Good Friday, April 19th – no time or venue announced at time of writing so keep eyes on our Social Media for full details. UNDER 16 BOYS: Laune Rangers Under 16 Blue & White Teams both picked up wins in their respective Central Region Divisions on Monday evening. In Division 1, the Blue side registered a great away victory over Austin Stacks in Connolly Park, Tralee. Half Time Score:- Austin Stacks 0-4, Laune Rangers 0-7.

Rangers didn’t relent, in the second half and finished up winning comfortabl­e Austin Stacks 0-7, Laune Rangers 1-17. UNDER 14 BOYS: Laune Rangers picked up two wins in the County Under 14 Leagues on Wednesday evening, as the Blue Team won away in Kenmare in Division 1 while the White Team defeated Keel/Listry at home in Division 9A.

Full Time: Kenmare 2-6, Laune Rangers 3-16. Laune Rangers White had a great win at home to Keel/Listry B in Division 9. Having led by 1-6 to 0-3 at the short whistle, Rangers drove on in the second half to pick up the win. Full Time Score:- Laune Rangers 1-14, Keel/Listry 0-8.

U-14 BOYS FÉILE: Laune Rangers exited Féile Peile na nÓg at the 1st Round stage this afternoon in Connolly Park, Tralee. Austin Stacks defeated Rangers in the first game as they built up a lead with the breeze in the first half that Rangers weren’t able to claw back. FT:- Austin Stacks 3-2, Laune Rangers 1-1. Colin Griffin with the goal and John Tuohy pointing in the first game. Rangers played Crokes in game 2, and the game finished level in a draw. Laune Rangers 3-1, Dr Crokes 2-4. A Dara Clifford hat-trick and Conor Buckley point putting the scores on the board for Rangers. Austin Stacks defeated Dr Crokes in game 3 to progress to the Semi finals, leaving Laune Rangers and Crokes to play off again in two five minute halves. The sides were level again at 2-2 a piece on the final whistle – Conor Buckley (1-1), Tom Garry (1-0) & Jack Lynch scoring for Rangers – which left the sides taking part in a free taking competitio­n to find a winner. It was the Killarney side who came out on top at the end to join Stacks in the final four.
