Inter win top of the table U-12 Premier clash with Celtic

THE meeting at Celtic Park of Killarney Celtic and Inter Kenmare in the JK Sports U-12 Premier was always going to be a crucial one. And with a 2-1 win Inter moves to the top of the table 3 points ahead of Celtic and with a game in hand. Dawid Grebowic and Liam O’Sullivan got the goals for Inter with Joey McCarthy replying for Celtic.

Killorglin defeated Dingle Bay Rovers away in the other U-12 game. Their goals came from Brian Mangan, Robert Bagget and Darragh Lynch who scored two. Joe Linnane and Padraig Manning were on the mark for Dingle.

U-12 DIVISION 1

Killarney Athletic are now level with Tralee Dynamos in the JK Sports U-12 Division 1 following their 2-2 draw with Camp Juniors. Mark Farrell had put Camp ahead in the first half and Seamus O’Connor added a second for the club in the second period.

Liam Courtney and Dara Griffin with a last minute penalty tied up the game for Athletic. Camp remains two points behind Athletic.

In the same Division Park B added three points to their mid-table total with a 3-0 win over Listowel Celtic B. Oliver Lata, Killian O’Mahoney and Tadgh Moylan were on the mark for the Park.

U-12 GIRLS 1B

Goals from Elisha Doody, Miah Carmody and Ciara Quilter who all scored two each and Anna Chute who hit one sees Fenit move to the top of the Girls U-12 1B.

U-14 PREMIER

Mastergeeh­a are now the top side in the Quills Woollen Mills U-14 Premier after picking up the points in 3-0 win over Listowel Celtic. The Kilbrean side are two points clear of Iveragh United but have two more games played.

U-14 GIRLS PREMIER

Two goals from Kelly Enright gave Listowel Celtic a 2-1 win over Inter Kenmare as they battle for second place Inter Kenmare in the Girls U-14 Premier Division.

U-16 PREMIER

The Park have moved up to second and level with Ballyhar after a 3-0 win over neighbours Tralee Dynamos in their first game of the week. They then took second place on their own when beating Inter 4-0.

Dan Fisher hit a hat-trick with James Charles getting the other goal. They are now three points ahead of Ballyhar with three games less played in the battle for second behind runaway leaders Camp Juniors.
