FUN RUN

A large crowd gathered to compete in the Ciara Orme Memorial 5k Fun Run. Some time ago the committee decided to pay tribute to a dear friend of the club through our annual fun run, hence the decision was made to make a donation to a charity that would have meant a lot to Ciara her family decided that Milltown First Responders are the chosen charity to receive a donation from the rowing club in Ciara’s memory.

Special Presentati­on of medals was made to Ross Gallagher and his guide runner Donie O’Sullivan. Thanks to everyone who helped out in any way. Thanks to Ciara’s family for joining us and rememberin­g the special lady that was Ciara Orme. in U12 singing. Cill Airne CCÉOur next branch meeting will be held on Tuesday next 16th April at 9 pm. in the Meeting Rooms Park Road.

Excitement is building now in Milltown as preparatio­ns are advanced for Fleadh Cheoil Chiarraí which will run from 19th to 23rd June

Entries for those wishing to participat­e must be with our branch Secretary on or before Tuesday 2nd May.

Comhaltas Annual Congress will be held 3rd to 5th May in Cultúrlann na hÉireann.

Grainne Evans will be receiving her T.T.C.T Diploma over that weekend having completed and excelled at the course last October.
