Palm Sunday: Blessing of the Palm at both the Vigil Mass and Sunday morning Mass. (Please bring some palm to Mass if you can).

Thursday, Friday and Saturday: morning prayer in Currow church at 10am.

Holy Thursday: Currans: Adoration at the altar of repose 5-7pm

Currow: Mass of the Lord’s Supper 8pm

Adoration at the altar of repose 9-10pm

Night prayer of the CHurch at 9.45pm.

Good Friday: Currans: Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion 3pm.

Currow: Stations of the Cross 7pm.

Holy Saturday: Currow: Easter Vigil begins at 9pm.

Thursdasy, Friday and Saturday morning: Prayer in Currow Church at 10am.

Easter Sunday: Mass in Currans at 10am. Mass in Currow at 11.,30am.

KILLEENTIE­RNA YOUTH CLUB

The last few Weeks have been very busy for the Club. On Friday April 5th the Club Joined with the Local Tidy Town’s Committee for our annual Village Clean up in Currow Village. Over 40 Club Members took part on the night and covered all approach Roads to the Village and a hug amount of Rubbish was collected. Hopefully it will also help our young Members to become Responsibl­e adults who will always have respect for their environmen­t and not Litter. We would like to thank Peter O’Connor of the Tidy Towns Committee for all his help organising the event.

Club Leaders Rachel O’Connor, Moss Leane, Ava Flaherty, Aisling Kearney, Cait O’Mahony and Lauren Butler were in charge.The Club went to Tayto Park in County Meath on Saturday April 6th for our End of Year Trip. 50 Club Members travelled on the day and had a fabulous day out.

It is definately a Trip which will have to be repeated in the future. Leaders Rachel O’Connor and Moss Leane and Junior Leaders Ava Flaherty, Aisling Kearney, Amy Walsh, Emma Walsh, Laura O’Shea, Graine O’Connor, Cait O’ Mahony and Lauren Butler were in Charge.

On Friday Last April 12th the Club Travelled to the Killarney No Name Club’s Easter Holidays Disco in Killarney.

Thirty seven Members attended the Disco and had a great night out. Leaders Erin O’Connor, Rachel O’Connor, Edel Brosnan and Moss Leane were in charge.

The annual Church gate collection takes place this weekend April 20 & 21.

TIDY TOWNS
