Busy schedule of games in Cumann na mBunscol Chiarraí’s 25th year

CUMANN na mBunscol Chiarraí is this year celebrating its 25th year of activity as a county wide organisation and thankfully our competitions are going from strength to strength. We cater for pupils attending all sizes of schools and at the moment the regional competitions for the 2 Teacher, 3 Teacher, 4/5 Teacher competitions are in full swing and by next week we’ll have the quarter final pairings for these competitions.

In the Urban schools we are again trying to ensure that all schools will get quality games at their own level. So at this stage the schools playing in most of the urban competitions are now participating in phase two of their round robin series of game. The following are the teams participating in the various Urban divisions with the top two teams in each group to qualify for the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol county semi-finals.

Division 2 Allianz Cumann na mBunscol South. St. Jotn’s Kenmare, St Oliver’s Killarney, The Monastery Killarney, and Scoil Mhuire Killorglin. Division 2 North Scoil Eoin Balloonagh, Moyderwell and CBS will all battle for top spots.

In the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Division 3 competition Holy Family, Rathmore, Fossa, Milltown and Firies will all complete for semi-final spots while in the Northern group Scoil Réalt na Maidine Listowel, Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn, Gaelscoil Aogáin and Spa will strive to achieve top spots.

In the Allianz Cumann an mBunscol Division 4 South group Gaelscoil Faithleann, Lisivigeen, Faha and Caherleaheen will play in this phase two league while Ardfert, Listellick, Holy Family, Tralee and Dromclough wiil compete for top spots.

In the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol 6/8 Teacher competition the following are the groupings with the top placed teams qualifying for the semi-finals.

North Kerry Group 1: Scoil Treasa, Kilflynn, Glenderry, Abbeydorney and Nuachabháil.

Group 2 North Kerry: Ballybunion, Lixnaw Boys, Sliabh a Mhadra

Group 3: Kilcummin, Currow, Cullina, O Brennan.

All finals in these groups are scheduled for the week prior to the Halloween mid term break.
