World’s best gin partners with ‘Other Voices’ to host 2019 Gin Music Traiil

-

AS world-renowned music event Other Voices returns home to Dingle, Co. Kerry for 2019, its eighteenth year will see it partner with another independent, local company – Dingle Gin.

As the World’s Best Gin, Dingle Gin is proud to be sponsoring the 2019 Other Voices Music Trail in its first ever such sponsorship.

To round off a successful 2019, the two family-run, Dingle born-and-bred businesses are partnering to showcase and nurture upcoming musical talent.

The partnership celebrates the end of an exciting year which has seen Dingle town enjoy a moment in the limelight as Dingle Gin was awarded World’s Best Gin in February, selected from over 400 gins from around the world blind tasted by industry experts.

Other Voices, which has become an international music TV series and festival, has been bringing musicians and artists from across the world to Dingle for almost two decades. Founded by Dingle Peninsula resident Philip King, and begun as a single concert in Dingle’s St James’s church, the event’s popularity means it now encompasses a whole weekend and a captivating ‘Music Trail’ throughout the town.

For 2019 the Dingle Gin Music Trail will feature more than 40 artists performing across 13 venues throughout the weekend, including the Dingle Distillery itself. Acts to be confirmed.

Commenting on the partnership, Elliot Hughes, partner at The Dingle Distillery, said:

“We are delighted to be sponsoring the Other Voices Music Trail this year. As two independent businesses with both our hearts firmly set in Dingle, we see it as a fantastic collaboration of like-minded people.”

“We are really proud of our Dingle roots and the unique and brilliant nature of Other Voices is one of the many reasons for that. I personally can’t wait to be drinking a Dingle Gin watching some fantastic performers throughout the town”.

Philip King, founder of Other Voices, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with Dingle Gin on the Dingle Gin Music Trail this year. To be able to partner with an independent, family owned brand like Dingle Gin who celebrate Dingle and West Kerry, as we do, is a wonderful thing”

Dingle Gin will be available at bars and venues throughout the Dingle Gin Music Trail, including at dedicated pop ups across the town. All attendees of the Dingle Gin Music Trail will be offered a complimentary tour of The Dingle Distillery with presentation of their wristband (subject to availability), to complete the immersive Dingle Experience.

The Dingle Gin Music Trail runs from November 29th – December 1st, as part of Other Voices 2019.
