THE MANAGERS

EAST KERRY MANAGER: JERRY O’SULLIVAN

We’re a different team and I’m sure St Brendans are a different team as well. We have the same bodies as St Brendans have, the only thing is that you’re together that little bit longer maybe than you were when you played the first game and both teams have games under their belts and victories as well on top of that which is going to bring on both teams. We’re just happy to be where we are. If you said to be at the start of the year that we’d get back to a semi-final again I’d be quite happy with it, but look it’s going to be a huge challenge again next Sunday for us to put in a performance and try and get a result, because Brendans have some very good players individually and as a team they’re exceptionally good as well.

ST BRENANS MANAGER: SEAMUS MURPHY

We are [enjoying it] the players are buying into it and we’ve Pádraig Corcoran involved giving us a hand with training and he’s vastly experienced at inter-county level and the lads are responding to him. Look we’ve had four games all in Austin Stack Park and we’re travelling to Fitzgerald Stadium the home of East Kerry on this occasion so it’s going to be a huge challenge. Everybody knows the firepower that East Kerry have and we’re just trying to figure out how we’re going to try and address that. They were very, very impressive against Dingle, the pace and the movement. A lot of their players need no introduction and I don’t underestimate the magnitude of this task, but look we’re delighted to be in the last four.
