The Kerryman (South Kerry Edition)
Fab four to do battle GAA Scene
County Board PRO Leona Twiss with all the GAA news
WE are down to the ‘Final Four’ in the Garveys’ SFC after being treated to four excellent games last weekend. It was great to showcase last Saturday’s games on RTÉ.
Congratulations to St Brendans, East Kerry, South Kerry and Dr Crokes who are through to next weekend’s semi-finals. The CCC met after the games on Sunday and set the fixtures. Next Sunday there will be a double header in Fitzgerald Stadium, first up at 1.30pm East Kerry will face St Brendans followed at 3.15pm with South Kerry versus Dr Crokes.
The final is fixed for Tralee on Sunday, November 10. There will be extra-time if necessary in the semi-finals. Best of luck to the competing teams!
Another game fixed for next weekend is the relegation play-off between Rathmore and Kilcummin, which will be played at the Dr Crokes pitch on Saturday at 4pm.
Remember to call into one of the Garveys Supermarkets and pick a winner and you could win your club a set of jerseys sponsored by Garveys! John White won the most recent set and Ballyduff was his chosen club. Congratulations to John and Ballyduff!
