O’SULLIVAN CUP: Milltown/Castlemaine seniors, sponsored by Larkins Bar and Restaurant and Kelly’s Londis, Top Shop, entertained Laune Rangers on Sunday October 20th last in the semi-final of the O’ Sullivan Cup. MC had a 3 point lead at the short whistle and maintained that margin at the final whistle-2/12 to 1/12. They will now face Glenbeigh/Glencar in the final of the above competition on Monday October 28th at 2 p.m. Venue to be confirmed. Unfortunately, our senior player Donal Kelliher sustained a fracture to his collar bone in the game. We wish Donal a complete and speedy recovery from his injury and look forward to seeing him back on the playing field when the season resumes next year. UPCOMING FIXTURES: Saturday October 26th: Mid Kerry Minor Championship (Derry O Sullivan Memorial Shield).-Preliminary Round (Extra-Time Playable) Milltown/Castlemaine (Home) vs Keel/ Listry with a 3.30 p.m. throw in. WEDDING BELLS: Congratulations to senior player and under age coach Jono O’ Connor, Brackhill, on his marriage to Shauna Corcoran on Saturday last. Shauna is also one of our under 6 mentors in the club. We wish you both many more happy years together.

31 CARD DRIVE: Tuesdays @ 9.00! We had another great turn out at our Progressive 31 Card Drive on Tuesday last. Why not join us this Tuesday in Nagle Rice Community Centre at 9 pm for some great cards. Some great prize money to be won in both the cards and the raffle!
