WELLNESS Baking Listowel Ltd is an artisan bakery located in the Listowel Enterprise Centre that specialises in producing gluten free products using the highest quality ingredients, and preservatives or additives. In business eight years, Wellness Baking services the Kerry, Cork, Limerick and Tipperary market and the remainder of the country via their online store. Their products can found in Dunnes Stores, Supervalu’s, Centra’s and independent retailers. This all began in 2011 as a result of proprietor Ildiko Bajzat baking cookies for a friend who was coeliac - these proved to be a big hit and, spotting a gap in the market for gluten free treats, Wellness Baking took off. He now has four others working at Wellness and they are a tightknit team that Ildiko is quick to praise, encourage and reward. As they are a gluten free bakery solely, customers are very confident in their product as there is never the risk of cross contamination from gluten. Success has them outgrow our current bakery, so they also outsource to a fully certified gluten free bakery to produce bread for the Cork market. Ildiko is also mindful of giving to give a very consistent service and they operate a very strict delivery schedule. “We never miss a delivery, which means our customers know which days our products will be delivered to store and can always rely on us for their gluten free goods,” he says. Hugely positive feedback from customers has been a great encouragement for Wellness Baking, who now supply over 50 stores, and still rising.
