The death occurred recently of Eamon Kerins, Kilfalney, Currans.

The death also occurred of Sean Sheehan, Farranfore Village.

Deepest sympathy is extended their wives and families. May they rest in peace.

HOSPICE CHRISTMAS EVENING

There is also a light up celebratio­n on Sunday, Dec 8 at 5pm in the grounds of UHK.

CONCERT

Knocknagos­hel Church Fundraisin­g Concert featuring Noel McAuliffe and Leonard Casey on Sunday, December 15 at 7pm in St Mary’s Church, Knocknagos­hel. Doors open at 6pm. Adults €10 children (under 12) €5. All funds raised will be used to build a permanent altar in St Mary’s Cemetery.

RENOVATION OF CURROW CHURCH

Bishop Ray Browne will celebrate Mass of Thanksgivi­ng in the church on Friday, Nov 29 at 7.30pm. Refreshmen­ts afterwards in Killeentie­rna Parish Centre. All welcome.

CONFIRMATI­ON

The Confirmati­on Enrolment Ceremoney will take place in Currow church during the Vigil Mass on Saturday, Nov 30 at 7.30pm.

KILLEENTIE­RNA PARISH CHRISTMAS PARTY

We wish to arrange a Christmas party. To finalise a date and venue we need to know how many are interested in attending. Please contact any Parish Council member or leave your name in the Parish Office by Monday, November 18.

KILLEENTIE­RNA YOUTH CLUB

The next few Weeks will be very busy for the Club as we have a number of activities Planned before the Christmas Break.We will have a Normal Club Night this Friday November 29th, however it will be a short night. Beacuse of the Bishop’s Massin Currow Church the Club will not start until 8.45p.m and will finish as normal at 10.p.m.

This will be our last Club night of the Year. We will have no Club night on December 6th, as we will be going Shopping and to the Cinema at the Cresent Shopping Centre in Limerick on Saturday December 7th. The Bus for the Cresent will Leave at 1.15p.m and will return to Den Joe’s in Castleisla­nd at 10.p.m approx and to Currow at 10.30p.m. The Bus will cost €10 and Members will pay for the Cinema themselves.

We will be going Ice Skating in Killarney on December 13th and attending the No Name Disco in Killarney on Friday December 20th.

Consent Forms will have to be filled for the Cresent Trip and the Ice Skating and these can be Downloaded from our Web Site. Names for allthese Trips will be taken on Friday night next. Details of all our Events can be found on Killeentie­rnayc.com and on our Facebook page.
